Prepaid electricity units

Today at 16:37 I went to pnp express bp olivedale and I asked the cashier if they sell city power prepaid electricity, she said yes and I went on to ask her 3 times to verify as I know sometimes shop attendants view elecyricity units as the same not taking into accouny varying service providers. She confirmed to say yes I then gave her my meter number a d asked her if it's showing my name she responded to say it's not but it's normal as others don't show and others Do, I went on to say to her please double chack and don't make a mistske she responded its correct one. I even askec her to see a previous slil of city of joburg electrity witb meter number

She went on to process payment and when she printed prepaid receipt as I thought it was incorrect and I said I told you hence I asked she pointed to me that her system doesn't give her option she just entered meter number.i asked to speak to manager to exsin and also highlight the fact that I had asked not once or twice and she didn't bother to double check but rather just went on to do things that she was unsure. I asked that they refund nd as this eskom doesn't not work with city power, the manager gave me long story and eventually went to call eskom to check as he himself was telling me same that city of joburg and eskom use same. I stood in the store bp express for close to 45 mind whilst they figure out who should refund me and eventually put me on a call with eskom even though I had told them am a city power customer. In all this I was not refunded my money let all e helped cause of a mistake their teller made and not mine I asked to say give me a refund as I don't have money to buy another voucher....they actually said they can't.

So now am totally unconvinced due to their incompetence and so lost money as am unable to use the stupid voucher I was sold by their people and have nerve to tell me I must contact city power

Please note that today I phone both City power and Eskom and I was informed that this is an issue of PNP as they sold me the wrong thing and not there, therefor I need to take it up with PNP to have my meter loaded with correct voucher. You need to understand my frustration as I need to load my units credits and yesterday I wasted my precious time on a mistake that Sthembile Cebekhule. this is very frustrating and as a customer I should not endure this up and down due to a mistake that was not even mine in the first place

Anwar/ whoever is handling this query you need to understand the issue at hand; ESKOM /CITY POWER can not refund me on a mistake that you as pnp has- when I asked the cashier if they sell city power she should not have responded to say yes they do if system doesn't give her options .....am not privy to the system hence I asked her 3 times if she is sure its city power. and for you as pnp to come back to me to say your system doesn't show you hence you just sold me the Eskom whilst I asked for city power is unheard of; This is not my mistake nor that of the service providers but your internal incompetence.
