Poor work ethics
Honestly I have never been met with such hostility in a brand I have used almost all my life. On Sunday I order from Pick ‘n Pay ASAP my dissatisfaction with the level of service I received and requested that they assist with a re-delivery of the package that had a damaged item in it because everything in that package was now dirty and I could not use it.
As I saw that the store will be closing soon, I decided to call them and I was poorly treated but told I would be assisted Monday morning. The next day I no communication come from the store or any consultant from the ASAP team, around 10 I called the store who claimed to be calling me back after receiving feedback from the ASAP team stating that Pick ‘n Pay asap is a different department all together. I decided to go drop off the items at the store and the manager promised to sort it out end of business that day.
Tuesday afternoon around 14:00 I called the store and asked what is the turnaround time for my matter to be resolved. The manager said two to three working days which is not stated in any of their policies and is somewhat taboo given that what they sell is groceries. I then sent a email on my personal email not on that asap app because that doesn’t work and around 17:00 in the evening I was called by a asap consultant whom I had to narrate my story and asked for a desired outcome which was for the store to re-deliver the items in that package. She said she would ask the store to do so and give me a call back.
It is Thursday today no package was delivered, no call back took place and no refund. I emailed them yesterday and was assigned a new reference. I honestly don’t know how Pick ‘n Pay wants their customers to react in such a situation.
This was my initial reference *** and after yesterday’s emails this was the request number I received ***.
This is the lowest level of incompetence for a matter that transpired on Sunday.
