Poor service reserved for certain areas by pick n pay. Poorly experienced "managers" running businesses in the townships.

I called pick n pay dobsonville (ext 3) on Monday 18 Jan to log a complaint and spoke to Siya Ndawo. in short, he told me that he does not know what to do with my query and I must talk to the merchandiser who gave me a recommendation on items to buy. In addition and when I insisted he call pick n pay customer services to establish how he can resolve the matter, he told me to that myself and tell him what to do once they have responded.

So I did and got a ref no ***. No feedback by now.

Am I surprised? Not in the least. After all this is a pick n pay in the townships and one can expect a certain level of poor service, it seems to be a standard of all shops in the townships, not pick n pay's preserve.

Why am i saying that? Had I called a pick n pay in the suburbs, I would have received calls from several people on Monday already.
