Poor Service Pick n Pay Hyper Brackenfell

So, Pick n Pay Hypermarket advertised Nescafe Gold Instant Cappuccino Assorted 20s each for R99.

So Closest Hypermarket to me is Pick n Pay Hyper Brackenfell, so one way 38 kilometers.

Start to shop only to find that there is No Stock available. Asked one of the staff there and she advised she will quickly look in the store room if there are any left.

Another employee came past and abruptly told us (by now about 6 people) there is no stock and they also not getting stock in.

So when asking to speak to the Store Manager, I was told to give my details and they will put me on the Rain check list. I asked again to speak to the Store Manager as the special was from 08/04 - 21/04/2024. And it was only the 11th. The two ladies at Customer Care made some comments (Which I understood) and then I demanded to speak to the Store Manager.

I explained and asked how do they do their projections of having stock on items when running specials. He said unfortunately they ran out of stock.

So here is my take on it, when running a huge business like Pick n Pay, train Your staff to make sure that they do correct projections of stock when they know that items are going to be on specials.

Still after leaving my number for the rain check, I have not received a call, so I presume they have not replenished the stock.

3rdly, I drove almost 40km to get to the Pick n Pay Hyper, so please keep Your clients coming from far in mind when You do your specials and projections next time
