Poor service- morning glen

Good day. I had two of my smart shopper cards with points and as advised by a cashier from another pnp I can use my points before they expire at the end of May. So I go to Pnp Morning Glen and tell the cashier to use both cards' points, the balance I'll pay cash. She tells me only R19 and R23 can be used as it expires month end and I say I'd like to use the full amounts and she still goes to capture only the minimum. The total points were R134 and R145... she called 'Cynthia' and she said when the transaction is canceled the points fall away.. I said then do that and the cashier said no I can use my points next time...

I couldn't go back and forth with people who don't understand.. I'd rather lose the R19 and R23 than pay that big balance.

I proceeded to pay cash... not realising that it is my last, last bit of cash for the month.

I'm just thinking how utterly disgusting I was treated. Maybe because I'm not white enough I feel like **** for accepting the **** that I got in store because I did not want to embarass them.

So I'm not at liberty to use what I want to use, as if it's her money/points. At the end she says it was a misunderstanding but I kept telling her I'd like to use the full amount.

I made it easy for them to walk away.
