Poor Service at Springs Mall Pick n Pay

Today at the Pick n Pay Springs Mall after shopping for goods to the value of about R3000 the cashiers were unable to accept any form of Credit Card and could only take cash. The tellers said to go and draw cash which is not a safe thing to do these days. This was not announced but after standing in the queue for a long time and getting to the cashier this was what happened. Goods had to be unpacked from my bags which were mine and I left with only a little as I had some cash with me. This is really an annoying situation. The cashiers were put in an awkward situation as they were helpless to solve it. The telephone number on the cash slip is also wrong. We always shopped at the Pick n Pay Sharon Park which was just closed one day without any notice, even for the employees which is shocking. I understand that the company is showing a loss but this sort of activity might explain why that is happening. We have supported them for many years but now we need to change to another supplier if this is how they conduct themselves.
