Poor service

On Monday , December 21, 2015 afternoon just after five pm I went to Pick n Pay where I bought some items, just over 10, including a can of Destroyer mosquito spray worth 25.99. The items included fruit and food. I was served at till number 3 and only asked for one plastic bag as i was going to put some of the items in my bag.I then walked out and went home and not once did the plastic leave my hand until I reached home, a walking distance from the shop. That was when I realized the item was not there. It would have been very easy to spot, I must say. I went to the shop after work to explain that the mosquito can was not included in the plastic. I was treated like a **** where the man, presumably in charge , disappeared for a while with my pay slip only to return later where he told to look again at home for the can. I felt very insulted by this man who, in the first place, failed to take me to the CCTV footage where I would have actually seen what happened on the day. He further said that he was , without even asking for my details, going to contact me should anything happen, a contradiction to his earlier utterance that I should go home and look again.
