Poor Queensburgh Pick n Pay service and management
Pick N pay Queensburgh have now implemented the system where customers follow a single queue and are directed to the latest available teller. This system has been used by various other outlets with great success.
However this Pick n Pay feels the need to rush customers along by not waiting for the next available teller to call the customers using the automated system but rather for a manager to stand at the beginning of the queue and to rush the customers to the next teller who is still busy with their current customer as soon as the conveyor is empty.
The problem with this, is that often the current customer is still busy paying bills or waiting for cigarettes, etc and you end up standing behind them waiting for them to finish whereas if the proper system was just followed you would have been seen by the next available teller and would have probably finished your purchase.
I have tried to explain this to them twice and was met with an arrogant dismissal attitude. Pick n Pay customer service levels have just plummeted and their treatment of customers is appalling especially in this store
