Poor customer service.

I purchased a skyworth soundbar from pick and pay.I cut the plug off to fit a 3pin plug.Now I am having a problem with.the unit and pick n pay refuses to cover the warranty because I cut the plug.No where on the warranty card says by cutting the plug off will the warranty be void.
