Poor customer service and expired products

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from ASAP.

On 1 May at around 14:00, I placed an online ASAP order through Pick n Pay Randpark Ridge. I received confirmation that my order would be delivered between 15:00 and 15:30.

The delivery never arrived on time, and later the app changed the delivery time to between 17:00 and 17:30, claiming there were “no drivers available.” I contacted the store and ASAP support several times and was passed from one person to another without receiving proper answers.

I later discovered that my order had been moved from Randpark Ridge to Pick n Pay Heathway without my knowledge or consent. Nobody could explain why this happened.

My order only arrived around 18:00 after hours of inconvenience and frustration.

To make matters worse:

- The bread delivered to me was EXPIRED (expiry date was 30 April while delivery was on 1 May) - The chips were stale and tasted old

I contacted the Heathway store manager to raise my concerns and requested accountability regarding the handling and packing of my order.

What frustrates me even more is that after submitting my complaint, Pick n Pay simply issued a refund and sent a lousy apology while completely ignoring my main concerns.

This complaint was never just about the refund amount. My issue is:

- Expired food being delivered to customers - Poor quality control - Delayed delivery - Poor customer service - Lack of communication - No proper explanation regarding why my order was moved to another store

As a regular customer, I expected better service and professionalism. Ordering online should provide convenience, fresh products, and reliable service — not stress, inconvenience, and expired food.

I am still waiting for proper answers and accountability regarding this matter.
