Poor Customer Service

I would like to issue a complaint against Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket in Brackenfell, Cape Town. This is regarding the non availability, for over a month now, of newly brought back to the shelves Redro and Pecks fish paste. I have read elsewhere of people being able to purchase these items across the Peninsula but I've not once seen these items on the shelves at this Hyper.

When querying this with staff I was informed that this Hyper did, on one occasion receive stock but that it numbered around twelve items. Which obviously went very quickly. But apparently this was the only time they received these items?

Why is it that this shop, one of the biggest across the Pick n Pay franchises in the Cape Town area, FAILS to have sufficient stock for their customers? I can accept stock running out but then the Marketing Manager should be able to see that there's a demand for the item and place an order accordingly?

I'm giving this review one star because I don't think I can post without rating at least one star?

Still waiting for a reply from Pick n Pay Hypermarket. Hopefully, I'll be hearing from them soon? All I really want to know is why they haven't had stock and then if they plan to stock this item in sufficient quantity to meet the demand that there will be?

I wish to thank Pick n Pay for following up on this complaint of mine and not too long after my second post did I receive a phone call from the manager of the Hypermarket in Brackenfell. Unfortunately, I didn't quite catch his name so am unable to name him. However, he explained the situation around the non supply of the items mentioned in my complaint and, although I'm not happy with the situation, I also realise that there is a reason for this. Demand too great for the supply.
I am now satisfied and wish to thank those from Pick n Pay involved with responding to Hello Peter and the manager of Pick n Pay Hypermarket in Brackenfell, for their assistance in this matter.
Thank you.
