PnPOnline shopping

Below is the letter I wrote to ********** on 30-11-2017 but so far I have not been responded to. Is this how PnP do business?

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this email with a very sore heart and disappointment as a consumer and user of PicknPay online.

I demand to know how is it my fault that I receive an incomplete order when I made an effort to order my Black Friday promotion items very early that morning. I was informed at the store during collection time that Explora decoder was out of stock. I thought online shopping was for convenience, but it turned out to be a huge disapointment.

I could have purchased from other competitive stores at a promo price but I chose PicknPay online. Even if I was informed the same day I could have made a plan the same weekend because the promos continued though the weekend. But yet I waited for my collection date as allocated by online system confidently, as I was made to believe my order was successful according to email from PnP.

As a customer I should have been informed that the items on my list will only be picked from shelves on the day of collection. If I had that information I would have gone else where to get my device. I feel disorganized also disadvantaged as a consumer. I need answers because I thought online shopping meant that my items will be reserved for this order.

I still want Explora 2 as advertised for Black Friday promo and I refuse to be disadvantaged by your processes and systems. I hope you will respond because your response will be highly appreciated.

Regards, SM

Good day Sarah,

Thank you for choosing Pick n Pay and taking the time to write to us.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the delayed response and any inconveniences caused to you.

Stocks available on line is as per the stores current shelf stock at the time that you are placing your order online and certain items might not be available as our online system is automatically updated when goods are run through the till point or invoiced for online shopping.

Goods for an order is only picked either the day before or on the day of delivery, therefore the stores stock availability may vary from the day that the order was placed.

We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and welcome your feedback to improve our services.

Kind regards

Vanitha Venketas

How was I supposed to know what you just explained now. The bottom line is that I have missed out on an opportunity whereas If I knew I could have just bought it on the day instead of "ordering" it. Clearly your systems and processes are messed up. I have learned my lesson.
