PnP sausage may wreck your teeth

On 08 August my wife purchased sausage from PnP here in 12th Ave, Boston, Bellville, Cape Town.

A while ago when I questioned the high meat prices of this store as compared to other PnP stores with lower prices I was told in layman's terms that this is a 3rd grade store selling 1st grade meat!!

Trust me when I tell you that the last thing I was expecting when I bit into your companies "1st grade" sausage was to get the whole ***, bones and all.....really poor quality.

Ag no man, sausage should be soft, juicy and more importantly....hazard free!

Surely if I wanted bones I would have asked the butcher, surely your meat products must come with a warning label?

I have a tooth that was damaged by your product and trust PnP will, at no inconvenience (in any way, shape or form) to myself, have this rectified please? What an inconvenience and shock biting into something solid....rock hard.

I feel its deplorable that an entire animal is seemingly ground up into bite sized eats, placed in sausage and sold as a "1st class consumable product"!

Really, PnP must place bright red warning labels on, at the very least, their sausage to warn consumers that there are bone fragments that will cause damage to one's teeth and digestive system.

Sharp foreign bodies like bones can lead to intestinal perforation and peritonitis - inflammation of the peritoneum, typically caused by bacterial infection either via the blood or after rupture of an abdominal organ. (Animal bones are known to contain trace amounts of toxic metals in addition to minerals.)

If however this is PnP's acceptable standard and you say it is then what choice do I have as a consumer?

I'm just asking to be treated fairly, that my concerns won't go unheard and that no consumer has to have dental insurance when consuming a PnP product.
