PnP refused to return milk which is past the due date
We ordered groceries for our work via online shopping and it was delivered on 9 April 2018, which included 12 boxes of PnP brand long life full cream milk. Shortly afterwards we noticed that all the full cream milk was past their due date.
I phoned PnP Online on 10 April 2018 and was advised by Zama Dube that PnP will return to pick it up and that we will be refunded. Nothing happened.
I phoned again on 13 April 2018 and spoke to Lindelwa. She also confirmed that PnP will pick up the milk that same day, but still PnP didn't return for the milk (reference ********** 276).
On 18 April 2018 I phoned PnP once again and was advised by Zanele that although PnP don't really return to pick up faulty groceries, they will pick up ours. (reference ********** 122). Still nothing.
On 20 April 2018 I phoned PnP once again and spoke to Pynal. She said we must return the milk to our nearest PnP store with the invoice and they will sort it out. When I asked for a reference number she said I must use the previous call's reference number.
On 24 April 2018 our driver took the milk to PnP Faerie Glen Hypermarket together with the invoice, but he was advised by Siya (that is apparently the grocery manager) that he refuses to accept the milk as it is past the due date.
Now we had to throw away all that milk as the boxes was about to burst and there were midges just all over. So in the process we lost almost R940 worth of milk and Pick a Pay just refused to assist us.
This is totally unacceptable!!
