PnP online shopping

I ordered monthly groceries from PnP online (in excess of R7000 before taking into account discounts and savings), to be delivered on 1 December. No delivery arrived on the said date and no communication as to the delay. On Friday, 2nd December I actually emailed them - no response. However, after 17:00 on Friday the PnP driver arrived. Only about half of the online order was delivered. When I queried it with the driver he said I should list the items that were not delivered. The short delivered items were so extensive that there was no place to list them all. I took photos of the delivery note with notes as to what was not delivered. The driver left but proceeded to return after about 10minutes to say they have located the missing bins but as it was delivered to an office I they can only collect and return on Monday and there was no need for me to raise the alarm with PnP (first red flag). I however still attempted to send the photos to the PnP WhatsApp line - which does not actually address any issue of complaint and it kept looping in the selections but nothing was actually addressed. Monday morning the driver came - the bulk of the missing items were delivered this time, but again the order was incomplete. My son again told him the 2 power banks and a salad dressing was missing and he again feigned ignorance. Heagain left, only to return again after about 8 minutes to say the store has it (Second red flag - if he knew the store had it why not collect and return immediately) and he would be returning again on the Tuesday with the last 3 items. That was meant to happen on Tuesday 6 December. Since then I have been in a constant "one way" email communications with PnP online and their customer care email systems. Each time I send an email - it only generates a "service request" but no actual assistance was forthcoming. Yesterday - after 33 emails and about 8 service request reference numbers via the email platform (not even going to all the sms reference numbers I received, I eventually called them (again). Fortunately for me I was assisted by Tasneem who promised to resolve my issue (I was doubtful that she actually would though. She actually called back and advised me that PnP would "generously" refunded me my money for the 2 power banks (the third item which was a small salad dressing was clearly not worthy of mention). 33 emails and 3 weeks later, PnP refunded me the money for the power banks as now they have no stock anymore and also reversed the card points I would have earned on the said items. I feel short changed. For 3 weeks they did not bother to resolve my issue and when they actually did something, they managed to do as little as they possible - probably to just "make me go away". Contacting them online, by email or WhatsApp is singularly unhelpful and I don't think they actually "hear" or care about complaints - their system just generates one reference number after the next and then I suppose they think that is enough. I will definitely be buying elsewhere in future.

this standard automated response is what i have been receiving since early in December and leaves me doubtful as to this ever being addressed and/or resolved satisfactorily. Original Order number ***8. Last reference number received ***
