PnP Mulbarton: MIA after shocking shopping experience

I posted this review WEEKS ago. I have tried to communicate with PnP, but all I get told, is that "there is only so much we can do from our side" by the head office. Despite assuring me that "someone" will get back to me, to address the shocking behaviour of their staff, no-one has contacted me. After my review, and again PnP advertising raw chicken and then forcing people to buy cooked chicken, I had something to say on FB. They promptly changed at least that one thing.

But I have STILL not had ANY feedback from this store. Again: how very disappointing, when they tell me: "We value you as a customer". What a joke. Hi PnP folks. Let me start by saying that Mulbarton is my favorite PnP, by far: always well-stocked and the staff friendly and helpful....EXCEPT for the Thursday Market Days....... 24/02/2022:08h00 - you posted the Market Day specials on FB. I saw it and was at your store at 11h00, particularly for the chicken quarters for R10 each. I was told they are sold out. So I had to buy what was there, at R17 each (according to the /kg price. Nonetheless, got all the veggies I wanted. I decided to be there earlier the following week. So, on Wednesday I confirmed via FB messenger that you would have the same special the next day. You confirmed this. 03/03/2022: 07h10 - I was at your store. I had offered to take my heavily pregnant neighbor with me, to help her out. Went straight to the deli for the chicken, only to be told that the R10 quarters are COOKED? Confusion. There started a 3-hour ordeal in your store. None of the Market Day signs were up, none of the prepared food was done, none of the R10 baguettes were baked. It was chaos. When I asked Phumulani at the bakery (at 09h30) he told me I should have been there at 07h00? I told him I was. He rep**** that he can't help that, shouting at us as he walked away - to the surprise of the customers standing around. Did some shopping, came across 3 other women looking for the chicken quarters. Everyone just repeating "it's the cooked ones" - by now almost 10h00. Go to the deli - not cooked quarters. The 4 of us approach manager Cindy (who is always helpful): show her the attached leaflet: clearly showing UNCOOKED chicken. All she can say, is that it's the cooked ones, over and over again. No matter how we express that this is false advertising, it was clearly a losing battle. Thankfully, the chef took our "order" for the chicken we wanted. Up, down. back-and-forth. Eventually get to the till - of the 16 tills, 4 were open, with queues down the isles. Finally we left at about 10h00. THREE HOURS later!!!! Yes, this was an exceptional day, where the staff were aggressive, rude and unhelpful. What a disappointment. A simple request: when you advertise specials/products, please prepare your store and your stock. Don't advertise uncooked chicken, and then force us to buy it cooked - it seems like a dishonest ploy to get feet in the door.
