PnP KC Emergency Assistance Beyond Measure

Last week on the 29th June 2021, I slipped on some poorly demarcated parking dividers at the Kenilworth Shopping Centre. In my fall I managed to dislocated my little finger on my right hand when i reached out to break my fall, it connected with another dimly lite concrete divider on the paving and bent into a very unnatural position. At the time I was in both extreme pain and a panic as I thought that it was completely broken. I contacted my TAG emergency assistance and when thye were unable to reach the KC centre management, they remembered that I'd said I had shopped at the PnP store at the back of KC and they reached out to Pick n Pay. Two medical emergency assistance persons immediately came from PnP to try help and assist their customer, even though this was clearly a Centre Management issue. That did not deter Fezeka Raheema and another lady from giving me all the emergency first aide that they could. They immediately tried to calm me donw and help with the pain by wrapping the hand of the dislocated finger in something warm. They also got me a chair and encouraged me to sit down and breathe whilst we waited for the ambulance to arrive to take me to ER. Even when the centre management representative did eventually arrive, they did not leave my side and even once the ambulance service arrived walked with me right up until I was in the ambulance and on my way to Kingsbury Hospital, where after xrays they were able to reset the dislocated finger. These representatives of PnP went above and beyond their responsibility to their customer, and I both applaud and thank them for their compassion and genuine care and consideration. Thank you so much PnP for hiring and promoting staff with these kinds of service and human values!!
