PnP Hypermarket Brackenfell refusing to honor ads.
2 days ago my mom went to PnP Hypermarket Brackenfell to buy Colgate Maximum Cavity Protection as per the "Ray Days savings" on the PnP Hypermarkets Facebook ad. When she got their, she took the ad and toothpaste to the enquiries and confirmed the price. The lady told her that price is correct, but when she got to the tills the special R 21.99 did not deduct. They called the lady supervisor and she refused to give thar price to my mom despite my mom showing the the ad clear as daylight that it is PnP HYPERMARKET special. They said the price was only on the "Triple Action" (She made screenshots of the ad, clearly showing the Maximum Cavity Protection picture.)They told her that the special is "on-line" only. I personally experienced dozens of times then same issues with that Hypermarket. My mom is extremely unsatisfied with this tasteless matter and I really think the Hypermarket should start working on their ad service.
Now exactly two weeks later now a single word from PnP Hypermarket...
I rest my case regarding this complaint.
I have a really big concern regarding PnP's integrity, regarding another matter.
PnP have now decided to go "Clicks" with buy 3 and pay for 2 deals. PnP DO NOT advertise any prices with those deals, but for example on this weeks special, you advertised "Buy 3x 1kg Blossom butter and only pay for 2." The only extra information with the ad is save R38. But when I got to PnP Hypermarket, the price was R48 each. So, PnP can someone please explain to me your math. I am clearly not as smart as you. If I buy 2 and get one free, how do I save R38 if the product is R48. If I receive 1 butter for "free" (Save R38) shouldn't the saved price be R48? If we do our budget, we naturally take you ask R38 per butter (Save R38). I am really sour with this kind of false adverti*****t. I took it up with the manager (Kevin I think) He agreed, and said the only thing he can do is "let the people know." No compensation giving (as per usual) Just a day or two later, ANOTHER little black and white paper with the price correction. WEEK AFTER WEEK another little black & white paper is at enquiries. PnP when are you going to start taking responsibly for this incorrect adverting? Or is it just a con to get people to come to your store??? PLEASE let me know which?
