PnP Delivery Service - NOT, There is no service value.

Shortly after South Africa went into lockdown, my wife placed an order for a home delivery. We were advised that they could only deliver on 16 April. Understandable, in a time of lockdown there would be a considerable backlog. The amount was paid, R1600 and goods were ordered. Today 16 April, PnP delivered less than half the order (R680 but had taken the full value of R1600 to book. My wife called to find out when the difference would be refunded only to be told that it would take 48 hours.

3. Goods Not Supp**** mostly (99%) meat, I now need to go and shop for, but the R857 is not available on my credit card to do the shopping because they have reserved the funds?

My complaint is: If you knew you would NOT supply certain goods at time of preparing the order – why are they ‘reserving’ the full amount? If this is done to the thousands of people using this service, where is this money and who is earning interest during this time? The 48 hours is business hours – luckily my delivery date was not a Friday.

Pick n Pay you are a bunch of **********. Either offer the service properly or don't bother.

I will tell anyone who will listen not to use your delivery service and I will not shop at pnp any longer.
