Pnp Cashier claims customers need to pack their own bags

Whilst I was shopping at Pick 'n Pay in Queensburgh on Sunday 22 January 2023 at 14h54 I paid at the express till, and the cashier was Mfayela. Ms Mfayela told me that she cannot pack my items because it's not her job, but rather the job of the customer to pack their own items because she does not have a packer.

When I asked her to repeat what she said, she repeated it as if what she was saying was the appropriate thing to say. After abandoning my items, and asking her supervisor if Pick 'n Pay has changed its way of working and customers now pack their own items, the Supervisor then packed my items.

I further more returned to the store to speak to the manager in charge, to report such an incident and he just told me that "he would handle it", and never gave me another light of day.
