PNP ASAP New app is ****
This is a review of the new PNP ASAP app. I read a review that explained in detail how this app is de*****ing customers of their money through buffer amounts that never get returned, it is true.
When you order on the new app, you pay a sort of retainer in case your backup choices cost more than the original pick, however even if they're less, you still end up with an inexplicable buffer amount.
The app claims to hold payment until shopping is finalised so you get the money for "out of stock" products in real time, this is not true. I write this review waiting for a return of R80.14 for a buffer amount that went unneeded and several ignored queries.

17 Dec 2025, 13:51Be careful when using this app, they never give back the extra amounts they charge you. Rather be safe and stick to Checkers Sixty60 where you can see the money for out of stock products in your wallet immediately after a transaction.

17 Dec 2025, 13:53And even though that R80.14 seems small, imagine if they take little useless buffer amounts for each order and never repay them, that could lead you to losing thousands on their app for things you never even received.

30 Dec 2025, 12:17After an automated response. I never received any help, but in desperate need of a quick delivery, I foolishly shopped on PNP ASAP again, [Delivery no. #***] and now I've had the same thing happen again, paid R479.20, products missing and ended up waiting for a R174.99 refund from early 26 December to now, 30 December 2025.
They explained that I should allow some time for my bank to process the reimbur*****t, but this is getting ridiculous. I've tried to contact the customer centre again, and after this gets resolved, if it does, I'm just deleting the app.

30 Dec 2025, 12:28They just sent me an email to use the "self-service portal", which was available on the old app to process refunds, but the old app no longer works and the new one has no "self-service".
