PnP a health hazard!!!

On Sunday 2018/09/30 we bought a piece of lamb flank for a little over R110 from PnP Waterstone. When we got home and opened it the meat smelled rotten. We called the store and spoke with Amanda who nonchalantly told us to come back to the store. We live in Strand, a fair distance away, and the road to Waterstone was standing bumper to bumper so we did not return. The thing is that it is not the first time this has happened and every time we get told to come back, who pays for our time and petrol each time, WE HAVE TO. How do you heav rotten meat in your fridge????
