Plastic in food
I went to pick n pay on Monday (18/04/16) to buy some lunch for my son. He was sitting at hes table eating he's macaroni when something told me to feed him further, thank goodness i fed him the last 3 bites as there was a sharp piece of plastic in he's food. I was so shocked - just imagine my son had eaten this plastic, it couldve got stuck in he's throat or even worse cut he's mouth/throat into pieces. I had my dad take them the piece of plastic as well as the container that the food was in and all they could do is give him a R50 voucher. What can one buy with R50 these days? Besides the voucher that really didnt mean much, they couldn't even apologise. The service at pick n pay is useless. There is other companies that would have given so much more to their customers to show their apology. Im just so thankful my son did not eat that piece of plastic!!! I even took picture's of the container as well as the piece of plastic.
