PLASTIC BAGS FOR CLOTHING

<p>I bought groceries as well as clothing at PnP today. I assumed , because I was buying clothing I would get a "free plastic bag" for my clothing - as it happens at other retail outlets who sell both clothing and food. </p> <p>However, dont ever assume. The items I bought were stuffed into the same packets as my food. I questioned the teller who told me I can buy a bag. So I said no its fine, im just unsure how you sell clothing and groceries yet dont provide bags for the clothing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Also my clothing was not folded it was literally stuffed and crumpled and tucked into the bag full of food. I happened to walk into the manager who told me that bags arent provided for clothing at stores which sell both food & clothing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Im so confused as to what difference this makes???? Firstly , you sell both FOOD & CLOTHING - hence the same rules should apply to this store as they do to PNP clothing. Why is it different? Im still buying the exact same items and they shouldnt be packed with my groceries? Please can someone explain the logic to me. I feel that this is absolutely ridiculous. Its the simple principle that Im buying clothing and pnp should provide a bag for that!</p> <p> </p> <p>This isn't the first problem I've had at PNP . Ive encounted miserable tellers , and packers who dont want to pack bags or fetch trollies. People standing around and doing nothing - purely unhelpful and I'm now understanding why people only shop at Woolworths</p>
