PicknPay is lying to and *****ing their customers over

I have posted on their FB page and sent it as a message. Read but no response! Now even more disgusted. Not sure how you can keep advertising that you’re staying well stocked to keep us safe?? You’re NOT!!! Went to a Hyper on Sunday and a Supermarket on few days later, where I first had to stand in a queue to get in!!!! The worst is that BOTH stores never had the items prices as advertised. This is disgusting of PNP. Is this how you’re making money by not increasing prices??? If I didnt pick it up on Sunday and was therefore aware of it yesterday, I would’ve paid full price for almost everything on both days!!! The one item I didn’t check when she rang it up J paid full price for!! Everyone checked my pamphlet for dates and which PnP it referred to. 23/3-5/4 BOTH stores, J was correct!!! I cannot go back for the 3rd time, stand in a queue again, only to find theres no stock again. Time and petrol!!! This is damn unfair, what now???? I have now missed out on those items at those prices as well as the roast I wanted to make for my boys and I as there’ll be no family day together this year on Easter Sunday. I was told on Sunday it had sold out on the Tuesday already due to panic buying. No limits so all your customers who cant panic buy can also get something? All little did they know they probably paid full price!!!! Also the only store that still had Beacon white easter eggs which I really wanted to buy, but probably because they’re the most expensive at PnP. Checkers R39.99 snd PnP R51.99!! What’s happened to you PnP, greed taken over??? Also, had to go to Game to buy globes, how is that not an essential? Well I’m happy you FALSELY advertised items and made money out of unbeknown customers. You should be ashamed of yourself. I will now make sure I check the price of every scanned item, if K buy from you again and IF you have stock of what I need!!!

Hi Kelly,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us regarding your shopping experience.

Please accept our apologies for any inconveniences caused for the delay and lack of communication in this regard.

We know that a small number of stock items might currently be in short supply. This is temporary, because there is more than enough stock in our distribution centres and with our suppliers, but it might take a day or so to reach our stores.

Where stocks are low because of heavy customer demand, we have limited purchases per customer temporarily. This is to ensure that as many customers as possible can buy the essentials they want or need.

We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels.

We appreciate your patience and understanding at this very difficult time.           Kind Regards, The Pick n Pay Team
