Pickn pay online a joke

On the 14tt December 2017 we were looking to purchase a new pool cleaner, as our died, and were in a bit of a rush as we wanted to have a clean pool for Christmas. Looking around online we found that pick n pay online had a great special for the Kreapy Krawly Dominator. So, we logged in to the site to purchase it, but when we selected our house in Germiston for delivery it said that there was no stock available. So, we tried to select the click and collect option, but the price then jumped R500. I phoned ********** 030 at 9:55am, and spoke to a very nice gentleman, who explained the distribution point for Germiston was out of stock, but if I selected the delivery address in Johannesburg north there was stock. I then selected my office in Waverley as the delivery address and the delivery window to be “Friday 15 December between 14:00 and 15:00 and paid for the trolley and the delivery fee. Thinking I would pop in to the office and collect it as I was on leave. On Friday at 15:00 on the 15 December I went to my office in Waverley, hoping to pick up my package. This is when my frustrations began. There was no package waiting for me.so I phoned ********** 030 to try find out what was going on. Again, the call was answered by a very nice lady who told me the reason that I did not get my package as they did not have any stock. Blood pressure rising. So, I asked the lady if she could confirm why I was not notified of the lack of stock, to which I was told that its very difficult to let everyone who ordered something that there was no stock. At which, I got a bit grumpy, and asked if she could see my recording on the 14th, to which she said there was no recording. I asked her to put me through to someone who would be able to help me with this problem. She put me through to Mavis at the warehouse. Mavis told me that there was no stock available at the warehouse, but she would find out if I could pick up at a pick n pay hyper that was close to me. Mavis phoned me back to let me know that Norward Pick n Pay did have stock and that I just need to go in and speak to Rudi the DIY manager as she had organised with him. I then drove to Norward pick n pay. Found Rudi who had no idea what I was talking about, we then phoned Mavis back from my phone and I asked that they try sort this out for me. Rudi explained to me that I would have to purchase the Dominator out right (which was R500 more expensive than the online price I had already paid) I spoke to Mavis and said this was unacceptable as I had already paid online. Seeing that noting was going to get sorted now at 16:00 on a Friday afternoon I asked Mavis to call me back on Monday morning with a solution to my issue. On Monday 18th December morning, I phoned Mavis at 10:00 she told me she had just come on shift and would phone me back before 12 to give me feedback. At 12:05 I phoned Mavis to which she apologized as to not phoning me back, but she did have stock, but only at a more expensive price. Mavis phoned me back at 13:46 to let me know she was still trying to get someone to authorise the cheaper price. So, at this point I have a dirty pool a bank account with a lot of money missing and still no clarity after 5 days as to if I will ever get my purchase.
