Pick pick n pay the bridge

Had a very bad experience with pick n pay the bridge Johannesburg cbd yesterday I went to shop for baby milk as I always shop at that store little did I know that I will end up paying 50 rand to get my parcels from parcel counter. I did not find the milk so I resorted to alternative store wich took me few minutes to come back to the store to do my other groceries I requested my parcels from the lady at parcel counter wanting to put the milk in my bag and get inside the store and shop as I usually do the lady refused with my parcel saying I must pay money to get my parcel or I won't get it.

Told her I don't have money she rudely said I must go to the office when I get there the managers told me it's procedure so I asked them if I can swipe that money they requesting they said I should pay it in cash the guy escorted me to the tills to withdraw like I'm a ***** I withdrew money and gave them the requested amount

I'm very disappointed and angry and will never shop there anymore

My point why do we have to pay money after leaving our parcels there is that a way to treat a customer? Is that even allowed? Where are they taking the money as I did not even get any slip or saw them cashing it up I need help regarding this matter I'm very unhappy with the treatment I got from pick n pay the bridge .
