Pick & Pay pricing issue.

I bought a few groceries this evening at Pick & Pay Kraaifontein checked my slip and notice something strange on a item purchase( Fair Cape Caremel dessert 125ml) at R12.99 to my shock,I went back to the store to scan another Caramel dessert to check the pricing ?scanned R12.99.This cant be right as i often buy this product.I bought one 6/05/19 at R6.99 same store? Still told me Wife this item is going up every week.

I drove back home, got my slip for the 6/05/19 as proof of my purchase of R6.99 Caramel 125ml.

How can a product double in price in 5 days.I asked the manager if this pricing is correct.She told me head office makes the pricing.

I asked the Manager for a refund as im not willing to pay double for this product i bought few days earlier for R6.99

Many other have lost or payed double for a item that cost HALF PRICE FEW DAYS EARLIER.
