Pick & Pay: no planning and care nothing.
You had 6 weeks warning that the VAT will go up. You advertise in the store, at the till that the price on the shelf may be less than the price at the till. That would be acceptable SHOULD YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A PRICE ON THE SHELF!!
Went to Rosebank to get some things and of all the toilet pare, of all the brands, of all the configurations of sheets and ply's only TWO had prices. Walkoing through the store I noted that more than a third of goods HAD NO PRICES ON THE SHELVES!! The price you see is the price you pay. You don't put a price...make it free. Either that or PLAN better.

With the change in the VAT rate we have to re label our entire store and due to the enormity of this change SARS have given concession to retailers until the end of May 2018, however we hope to have our labels updated by the 8th April.
