Pick 'n Pay's **************** and Statements Not Being Sent

I have a problem with a credit provider called RCS which I only just discovered recently is linked to Pick 'n Pay.

I bought a smart TV at Pick 'n Pay last year on September/October on credit. At first, things were OK but then a few months later I started experiencing problems with Pick 'n Pay. I only received my accounts for the first three months and then after that I stopped receiving statements. I have not received any statements since February 2019. I have been to Pick 'n Pay numerous times and they kept telling me they will send me statements by SMS but I have never received any statments in all this time. I also tried registering on the system to access my account details but I am always frustrated as I am never able to progress through the steps needed to access my account because the site keeps on not loading.

I also experienced another problem. One day, when I went to pay my account I was told by the cashier that my details did not appear on the Pick 'n Pay system even though I presented my Pick 'n Pay smartshopper card which I usually did every time I shop at Pick 'n Pay. I assumed that when I app**** for and opened my credit account at Pick 'n Pay, my account would be automatically linked to my Pick 'n Pay smartshopper card. I was literally told that I would only need to pay my account using this account and that I was made to believe that this was exclusively a Pick 'n Pay account. But suddenly I was told my details are non-existent and then I was told that a new card would have to be created for me with new account details with regards to the credit that I had to pay for the TV. So I accepted that even though it was really strange that my account details just vanished from the system. Months later, today, 13 November 2019, I received a message threatening me by saying that my TV will be repossessed and taken away from me if I do not pay my account. I had been paying my account over an above what was required every month but it was only in the month of November that I had missed payment due to funeral costs for a member of my family. I then discovered that this account was actually for RCS which acted on behalf of Pick 'n Pay and not Pick 'n Pay itself and so I was given a contact number to contact them. I phoned RCS and enquired about this. I was told I had a balance of over R11000 but I found this very strange as I had been paying lots of money into my account and the balance therefore could never be over R10000.

At this point I don't know what is going on with my account as I haven't received any statements for about a year and never knew that RCS was actually the company handling my account instead of Pick 'n Pay so in that sense I was deceived because I was not made aware of this company.

I would like Pick 'n Pay to resolve my query and send me statements every month like they did at the beginning!
