PICK 'N PAY WOODMEAD ITEM PAID FOR AND NOT RECEIVED

I bought groceries at Pick 'n Pay Hyper Woodmead to the amount of R 2293.59 on the 7/11/19. When I got home and unpacked I noticed that the last item which was "Rick F/Body Moist Q10" cream, was not there. The next morning when they opened I was there and spoke to Paula Mashiyane who said she will check the "left behind" items and the cameras on the cashiers and packers. I left as we were on our way to the Cape on holiday and she promised to phone me, which she did a while later. According to her nothing was left behind and the camera did not show anything wrong. I said again that I did not receive that specific item but will check the boot of the car which was used the day before when we get back home (as we used a different car then) and I will phone her on the 24/11/19. I contacted Pick 'n Pay Hyper yesterday and tried to speak to Paula Mashiyane. She did not answer my call and when I phoned the number of the branch, I asked to speak to the manager and was transferred from one staff member to the other. I explained my situation to each one and again asked for Paula Mashiyane "who was busy" and she will be asked to phone back. No luck. The item only cost R102-99. I have spent more money on petrol and phone calls than this amount but the point is that problems like this just should not be ignored. I therefore urge people to be careful when shopping at Pick 'n Pay Woodmead. You might just end up paying for items you do not receive and your complaint will be ignored - you will be made out to be a ****. I will in future rather shop elsewhere.
