Pick 'n Pay Wonderboom

On the 12th April 2021 17:45, I went with my wife and daughter to go buy pads for my wife at Pick 'n Pay Wonderboom Junction. As per usual we went to the aisles got what we needed and joined the queue at the cigarette counter, as we got closer and closer it was now our turn to pay, we just saw the cashier(Brenda Motsepe) packing up and leaving her till without any explanation or any sign to show that the till was closed. One of the customers went to Brenda and asked "are you guys not closing at six" Brenda's reply was "Are you my manager? Do you pay my salary?" she said these words in a rude manner. The customer just looked at her and kept quiet. My wife was unhappy and decided to toss the basket on the counter she left and decided to go to another store. I remained behind and Brenda loudly said "I am not on my period she can leave it behind I'm not the one in need of these things" not being aware that we were together. I went and complained to one of the frontline supervisor and he apologized and told me that they will sort it out and offered to assist me which I ended up paying for my items. This was not the first time seeing Brenda treating a customer bad. This was my second encounter, the first time I kept quiet. I am a regular customer because I live in Wonderboom, where am I suppose to go shop?
