Pick n Pay Westville Disappoints

Recently bought a 350g pickk n pay butchers Beef Biltong pack and when I opened it a day after I purchased it I noticed that the biltog slices had mould in them. I unfortunately was unable to get to the store for a while because of work and family situation. I returned to teh Pick n Pay Westville store to return the product for an exchange or refund which ever was deemed appropriate by the store. I was told that because the slip was a month old which it is not purchased 6/2/2024 they were not prepared to entertain any refund or exchange. The use by date is 2024/03/19 so with good reason the product should have been acceptable. This is a poor show and not keeping to the quality agreement printed on the packaging. Needless to say I am disappointed
