Pick n Pay: Various off food items in fridges

We've been shopping at Constantia Pick n Pay for 13 years and in the last week purchased several food items only to find them all have gone off before their expiry date. The first item being chicken, then pork, the crab salad from the sushi bar. This is very concerning as the chicken and pork were bought for a family gathering which left us with a problem as we prepared the meat an hour before guests arrived. A few days later we purchased several salmon sushi platters together with a few crab salads for a little gathering, only to find the crab salads off as well. My wife was quite nauseas for the remainder of the day as she had already tested a little. We spend in excess of R100 000 at Constantia Village of food items alone and these recent issues are truly a concern w.r.t. quality and our health. Had we cooked the chicken or braai and served it to our children and their grandparents there may have been very serious consequences. We pay 'top dollar' and expect the best quality available.
