Pick n pay turns customer away for using her husbands bank card.

So really this store doesn't deserve a star at all. Went inside pick n pay to do some shopping, stood in the line for a good 20 minutes only to be turned back because my card had Mr on it, instead of Ms. How many women shop with their husbands cards? When I informed the teller and supervisor that it belonged to my husband , she said she was just following procedure. Have I been living under a rock and missed the campaign that informed consumers of this? There was no signage at the till points or any place in the store in fact and the supervisor and cashier were rude. So when I decided to call customer service, the consultant said shed call the store to try and sort it out. Twenty minutes went by without her returning my call, so I called customer service again. Apparently the regional manager was unavailable and my matter has to be referred to head office. So in really, I spent 2 hours in Pick n Pay and airtime trying to spend my hard earned money in it only to be treated worse than a crimenal because of their incompetence. To think I was actually thinking of opening a store card.

Its been an hour now since I called customer service, I still need to drive home to help my children with homework and prepare dinner for my family.
