Pick 'n Pay Towers, Bloemfontein

I am a regular Pick 'n Pay customer, as a matter of fact I almost shop there on a daily basis for business and personal purposes. However I am a bit dissapointed at my experience this evening after work. On the shelf at the Krush juices, a clear adverti*****t was placed stating the special was R21.95 and Smart Shoppers get a further 10% discount and pay only R19.95. So I took 2 bottles, only to discover at the till that they are R 31.95. I told the lady that the special stated R 19.95 for smart shoppers, so she sent the assistant there to go check at the juice shelfs. The assistant came back with the special that I saw, only to show me that fine print that the special is for the 1 liter bottles and not the 1.5 liter bottles that I took. I said okay not a problem, I will take the 1 liter bottles then, even though the adverti*****t was clearly placed at the 1.5 liter bottles incorrectly by the staff. She then came back only to inform me they do not have any 1 liter bottles. How can you advertise something (and place the advert by the wrong items) if you do not have stock of the original item on special. Needless to say I did not buy any of the juices. I drove less that 2 kilometers further to the Spar on my way home and discovered that they have the exact same 1.5 liter juices on special for only R 25.95!! Wow lucky me!! I think I will think twice from now on to stop at Pick 'n Pay and rather visit the competitors more often.
