Pick n pay, Sunward Park, Boksburg - SHAMBOLIC!!!

I went into this store recently and once again there were no price tags on shelves (bacon packets in my case). In the past the plastic strips holding the card price tags have hung loose in the veggie section, almost always the fridges are not cold enough and the vegetables that are there are limp and sad looking (celery, lettuce in my case). On more than one occasion the PAST SELL-BY DATE combined with the WARM fridges resulted in celery sticks having become mushy and rotten, but they were still left on display! The fresh produce section is almost always under-stocked and looks more like what you might see in a township ****a shop not a JSE-listed country-wide food store.

Try saying something the store manager and WHOA…..you get called a ******!!!!! That most entitled of beings in SA’s current demographic the young BF manager, living under the shelter of her race, gender and BEE status believes she may behave as she did towards me with impunity.

Try complaining to PnP directly on their website and they ignore you! Searching hellopeter, I see there are many, many complaints about quality, service and bad attitude experienced at various stores countrywide. Head office don’t care, there is no move to improve standards, train people better and have employees understand which side of the service line they are placed and hence should behave.

This is a company that deserves to be boycotted. They need to be closed down and liquidated.
