Pick n Pay store card is a farce

Pick n Pay store account is a farce. I am a regular shopper at Pick n Pay and always get waylaid in the stores at both Arbour Crossing and Chatsworth for the new Pick n Pay store account. And then every time I am declined for some unknown reason. I have recently purchased a new vehicle and am permanently employed so I fail to see why I do not meet RCS criteria for a store card. I called Pick n Pay while at the store after having been declined yet again for the store card. I was on hold for 15 minutes before a consultant took my call and said she will get a floor consultant to help me. I was on hold again for another 10 minutes. That floor consultant heard what I was querying and put me back to the first consultant. Again on hold for 10 minutes. Frustrated, I cut the call with no answer to my query. I know of people who are unemployed and get a basic social grant of R1400 who qualified for credit of R5000 with the Pick n Pay store account ....what criteria are they meeting to qualify while I do not qualify??????

Thanks for taking the time to write to us regarding your concerns.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the poor service experienced by our Store Card Division.

We will address complaints with our Store Card partner RCS as we do not have access to their systems to view the reason for you being declined.
