Pick n Pay Store Account Promo Tricks

I opened a new Pick n Pay store account in December. I must say that the process with their Credit provider, RCS, was easy and all documentation very clear. BUT, Pick n Pay advertises the following: "R200 off your first purchase of R500 or more*" This statement is ambiguous as I understand it to be: When you buy for R500 or more for the first time, I will get R200 off. What they meant to say was: "if the first purchase on your account is to the value of R500 or more, R200 will be credit to your Store Account". Off course now, Pick n Pay will not give me a discount, because they can't help that I understood it incorrectly.... You published an ambiguous statement Pick n Pay.

Now, They do actually say "if the first purchase on your account is to the value of R500 or more, R200 will be credit to your Store Account" in the Terms & Conditions, but they also state the following in that same T&C's: "To enter the promotional offer, the entrant must:

Open a Pick and Pay Store Account and purchase using the account to the value of R500 or more. Participants may enter the promotional offer as many times as they wish "

So, what now? Is it the 1st ever purchase or not? And I may enter the promotional offer as many times as I wish? Really? On different accounts? On the same account? What?

It is unclear and I believe that I should get R200 back every time I spend R500 at Pick n Pay. I need Pick n Pay and or RCS to rectify this on my statement as I believe i qualify for the promotion. I called the customer service department and asked for a call back from their supervisor, but nooo response. They cant be bothered to call.

Unacceptable. Consumers beware.
