Pick n Pay Staff BODY SHAMED me

06/11/2018- I am a new mom of a two week old boy. We decided to go to Pick n Pay Pinetown Pinecrest (Sanlam) to do usual shopping with my son and his daddy. Little did I know I was going to be humiliated infront of other customers and my family by their staff member. As I was standing there making payment Thembeka Miya was my cashier her Packer who was talking to my babydaddy I will assume about our baby because when I was done paying she told me to tie my stomach. I responded by saying my stomach was tied she gave me that look that she did not believe me and it was still sagging and pointed part of my stomach that was not tied, she then said my babydaddy was going to leave me. This was the most embarrassing thing I always had about BODY SHAMERS little did i know i was going to meet one at Pick n Pay.

I looked at my babydaddy as we were leaving the checkout walking towards exit. I said to him what the hell is wrong with this woman why did she think she has a right to speak to me like that BODY SHAME ME. I wanted to go back and report to management but babydaddy said I need to not allow her to get under my skin.

I could not help myself as we got to the car I went to Pick n Pay Customer Care website wrote my complaint, I received an automated email saying they will respond to it.

07/11/2018- I called Toll Free Pick n Pay Customer Care Line I was told matter will be escalated to Regional Manager.

08/11/2018- Still no contact from Pick n Pay
