Pick n pay smart shopper card

I'm so disappointed with the lack of service at you branch in Diepkloof Square, Soweto. Firstly, the cleanliness is an issue, their trolleys are never clean, and forever working on skeleton staff and by now "management' there should've mastered peak times to ensure sufficient staff is available.

My second complain comes from the issue of the smart shopper card. After being in the queue for what felt like a decade, I produced my digital smart shopper card and they refused to use it, even after showing the store manager that the card is from my pick n pay app, he refused and claimed that it was not allowed, which came as a suprise because I it has never been an issue previously. I than stated that I'd log a complain with regards to the refusal. A few days later, I went to the Pick n pay at The Marc in Sandton, produced my digital card and the cashier took it with no hesitation. So my question is what's with the double standards?? Why is it that in the burbs the digital card can be used with no hesitation yet in the south it it's an issue to produce it?? A huge establishment such as WOOLWORTHS has no issue with a digital card, Shoprite and Checkers just to name a few have no issues, so why does the Pick N Pay in Diepkloof Square Soweto have an issue???
