Pick n Pay shopping center, Midway mall

I had the worst experience of my life. Went to P&P Midway mall to buy cigarettes (Paul Revere), this is a known brand. Got to the counter and was not acknowledged by the person at the till. It was more important to have a discussion with her colleague next to her as well as the person that does the packing. On request of the cigarettes she told me that she does not know this brand and without asking she informed me that they don’t have. Whereby I responded that I buy there every day and had to go and point out where they kept it. When they finally rang up the cigarettes it came to a total of R510.00 and a loos packet is R30.00. Once again I had to query this an once again very little support. A supervisor approach and after asking why the price difference she said well that is wat it is. I then requested to speak to someone higher up than her, a gentleman approached and the same question was asked, He informed me that they will have to take it up with their supplier as its they that calculate the pricing and head office that loads the prices. Not offering a solution I had to suggest that rather give me 10 loose packets so I can return to work.

There is a huge difference between having a job and doing your job!!!
