Pick n Pay sells rotten chicken

On the 23d of December 2023, I purchased Rotten Chicken from Pick n Pay in Carletonville. I smelled something was off but I thought that I am maybe wrong. As I got home, I opened the chicken and it was rotten. Why do you have rotten chicken available on your shelves in the first place?- Note that the best before on the packet was 25th. Disgusting- Never purchase meat from them again.
