pick n pay sells fire hazards

during the Christmas period we received a gift . a toaster to be precise a counter point toaster which I might at is the sole brand for pick n pay and what they stand for . our 4th attempt at making toast turned in to a worl wind of fire and theactris. I packed up the toaster and took in hand the slip proving that the counter point toaster which only pick n pay sells was purchased in good faith . on arrival at pick n pay between all three of there managers they were not accept the electrical hazard back because it didn't have a box... now I don't know how many of you feel the need to store a useless box in your homes but I don't feel the need.... I can't logically understand what pick n pay thinks you are buying when you purchase a toaster personally I feel it's the product and the cardboard surrounding counter points electrical hazard appliances. the manager advise it is there policy and he could do nothing to help me . I found it amusing that he thought I knew anything about pick n pay misguided policies . not at the till nor on the slip or in verbal was it ever communicated we should keep there pitiful box

all in all pick n pay would not accept responsibility as in there opinion they could identify which brand it is ... I thought it was really funny as it is branded clearly on the toaster as counter point .... I asked if he knew that counter point was only sold by pick n pay ... the response was not amusing as dead silence would have been better.... to make matters worse I lay a complaint at the customer care centre I am assure the store manager will contact me with in the following morning

..guess what not a thing nothing at all .... pick n pay sell fire hazards and want to accept no responsibility I am disgusted and advised all my family and friends not to use pick n pay

.
