Pick 'n Pay selling phones which do not work

Bought a mobicel phone. it did not work. returned it to replace it with another one. This did not work either. A third phone eventually was sold to me after having to test it upstairs at garden centre. After two trips and wasting about 3.5 hours of my time, they could not even give me a R50 discount for the price difference of a new phone. Pick and Pay should not be selling phones that do not work to customers, and making the burden of inconvenience fall on them. I will be very disappointed if I do not receive compensation.
