Pick 'n Pay's unfair labour practice - no salary

After 5 min unprofessional interview, not having my CV in front of him (said I hadn't done Accounts nor worked since retrenchmnt over 4 yrs ago). 2 weeks later offers me a job in his Admin for their new Boskruin store : 1 mnth probration. Job description: only stapling together dockets/invoices, so offered low pay. Started work 02/11 with a bad dose of flu. Was sent to doctor that afternoon 2pm, who diagnosed URTI, booked me off for 2 days giving strong antibiotics. Returned to work Thur-Fri
