Pick n Pay Rude Supervisor

On the 5th October 2021 I went for shopping at pick n pay wonderboom Pretoria, at the till I asked the cashier if she was not going to ask for assistance by a packer. I asked the lady in red (supervisor Linda) if they can assist us with a packer, her response and tone was so rude saying that pick n pay doesn't have packers so its either i pack for myself or the cashier will pack. Keep in mind that there is a long queue of people also awaiting to be assisted. I asked the supervisor Linda if she could assist us and she said we customers are full of drama why don't we pack for ourselves!!!!! Is that how pick n pay now operates? She went as far as telling me that the pick n pay policy has changed when it comes to packing goods, am I supposed to purchase and pack for myself?????? What happened to customer service??????
