Pick n Pay - Recurrence of nonconforming product - Milk

<p>Please be informed that once again this unacceptable Pick n Pay No-Name brand full cream long-life milk has recurred and was found unsatisfactory.</p> <p>I was at the Pick n Pay Trade Route Mall –Lenasia on the 08-03-2017, to collect the replacement milk with regards to my complaint logged with Yudeshni Pillay (Food Technologist Dairy) and Jeff at the branch.</p> <p>Arrangement was made with Jeff – Manager to collect the replacement, however at the time of my arrival at the store he was not available.</p> <p>None of the other managers knew about this arrangement and when trying to call Jeff it was unsuccessful. I waited more than 30 minutes before a decision was taken to issue me the exchanged milk. (Customer inconvenience) </p> <p>The quality of this milk taken was found unacceptable when the product was utilized at an offsite function.</p> <p>The lids couldn’t be opened by hand due to the excessive glue around the rim of the lid as shown in my photographs.</p> <p>We literally had to cut open the top surface in order to pour out the milk – This is surely appalling!! </p> <p>I want to be fully compensated for this ordeal and would prefer a quality control check be initiated on these defective packaging of your product.</p> <p>This complaint will be escalated to the CPA for resolution. </p> <p>Best before:-</p> <p>18 Aug 170 ZA5/42</p> <p>PD 18-11-16 T2 015:09</p> <p>Bar Code on the actual milk carton: ********** 041052</p> <p>Bar Code on the outer carton: ********** 164294</p> <p>Customer ref ********** 871: DEFECTIVE LONG LIFE MILK</p> <p> </p>
