Pick n Pay Quagga Shopping Centre - Rotten items and Poor service

I am extremely disappointed in the declining service levels at Quagga Shopping Centre over the years. We live in Pretoria West and have been shopping at PnP Quagga Centre for over 20 years! After years of no longer buying cooked food at this store, my husband decided to again try their food and we bought fried fish about 3 weeks ago, it was nice. About a week later we tried buying the fried fish again, it was terrible (in fact this is an understatement! The fish was tasteless and smelt funny. I again decided we will never buy their fish ever again!

Now I come to last week where we purchased our weekly 25kg of PnP mealie meal - yesterday in trying to cook pap again, I find worms in the bag of pap! I decided to empty the bag into a big bowl and discovered the entire bag is worm filled, mouldy, and has those string cobweb like things! I tried to sieve the mealie meal because I urgently needed to cook pap and it was long before PnP operating times! Now my question is how does this 25kg of mealie meal get like this when this size is even quite scarce in the shops 1 out 5 times whenever we want to buy it....we mostly find the 12kg or 10kg!

My biggest frustration now is that I have been calling their number I found on the internet and they are yet to answer their calls! Also obviously after more than a week, we no longer have the till slip for the proof of purchase! How does this happen, despite the new renovations, the service levels are still bad and the staff do not care! About a month ago I walked into the store at about 18h45, the store closes at 19h00. Some of the staff from when I entered the store were shouting for me to hear - "the store is about to close, but people are only walking into the store now when we are about to close after they have been relaxing in their houses until now when we are also about to go to our homes"! Now my question is - would you still have a job if we as customers did not exist? How do they make such assumptions about why I am entering the store at 18h45 and also why disparage a customer with a rude statement like that!

I have so many bad experiences with PnP Quagga, my family and I now prefer to shop a little further at different PnP despite Quagga being a stone throw away! I'm upset! I'm upset that it seems like no one cares and all our wasted monies were being thrown to charity!
