Pick n Pay Profiteering Off The Plandemic!
Went to Pick n Pay in Primrose (The Rose stripmall) on Sunday. Wanted to buy 2 types of 6 brea****ls each. The bakery would not serve fresh rolls, but they were all pre-packed... as 8 rolls each. (apparently serving loose items gives people the flu-virus? this has been a problem since the lockdown) You know full well the norm is 1/2 dozen or 1 dozen. I hailed one of the baker attendants and asked for 6. She refused - then told me I would get a discount at the till as I only wanted 6 each. Got to the till... nope, that was a lie. It was too busy to cause a fuss so I paid and vowed to raise this. Likewise I wanted 2 tomatoes, but nothing loose sold - only packets of 4. As I got home, my mom-in-law said she had just experienced the exact same problem at Pick n Pay Brentwood Park - they refused to sell single tomatoes to clients. So customers are "forced" to buy larger quantities of goods than they wanted to. All in the name of the virus...
Rather go to Checkers Hyper, OK or Superspar, they sell loose items. Especially as Pick n Pay Primrose is known in the Primrose area for being the local hotspot of pickpocketers - my wife had 2 attempted pickpocketers in the last 6 months at this branch. Hence I now refer to the company as Pickpocket n Pay.
